Student Assistance Services Corporation (SAS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the mental health, wellness, and healthy development of adolescents throughout Westchester County.
We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and collaborative licensed mental health professionals to join our growing team. Depending on your experience, background, and agency needs, successful candidates may be eligible for either:
- Our School-Based Mental Health Clinic Program, providing outpatient mental health treatment within local school districts, or
- Our Student Assistance Program, providing prevention, early intervention, individual and group counseling, substance use prevention, and wellness programming in middle and high schools.
This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about working with adolescents in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Provide individual and/or group counseling to adolescents in a school-based setting.
- Deliver evidence-based mental health, wellness, and substance use prevention services.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment or service plans as appropriate.
- Collaborate with school administrators, counselors, teachers, and families to support student success.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation using an electronic health record (EHR).
- Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based care.
- Support students experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, or substance use concerns.
Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
- Current New York State license (or license eligibility) as one of the following:
- LMSW
- LCSW
- LMHC
- LMFT
- LCAT
- Licensed Psychologist
- Experience working with adolescents.
- Reliable transportation for travel between assigned school locations.
Preferred
- Experience providing school-based or outpatient mental health services.
- Knowledge of adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interventions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Salary
$61,000–$75,000 annually, based on licensure, qualifications, and experience.

Pay: $61,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
