About Gotcha Focaccia
Gotcha Focaccia combines traditional Ligurian baking techniques with bold, modern toppings for a rich, fluffy bite. Since launching at Smorgasburg, we've brought our delicious focaccia and Pop Up Focacceria to customers all across NYC.
The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable team member to work at our thriving market stall on Saturday AMs. This is a perfect role for someone who loves food culture, enjoys a customer-facing environment and is excited to contribute to the growth of a small business.
Responsibilities
- Set up market booth
- Take and process orders
- Fulfill orders with light food prep
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Provide excellent customer service and representation of the Gotcha Focaccia brand
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid Food Handler License / Certificate
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand for 6 hours in all weather conditions
- Reliably available Saturdays from 7:45 AM - 1 PM
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
- Organized and detail oriented
- Outgoing and personable, with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to be flexible (due to weather and logistics)
Preferred:
- Prior experience in food service
- Prior experience in sales
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $20 after initial paid training period
