Pay: $16.00+ Hourly
Position Summary:
Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the trade, support project crews, and gain hands-on experience in a growing HVAC/plumbing/electrical company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help operate power and hand tools—such as drills, conduit benders, wire strippers, and wrenches—to assist with wiring, conduit, and fixture installations.
- Measure, cut, and prep materials including conduit, wiring, and support components.
- Pull wiring through openings and support electricians by lifting and positioning equipment and materials.
- Clean and organize job sites, restock materials and tools, and maintain a safe workspace at all times.
- Assist with minor repairs—such as replacing light bulbs, switches, sockets, and basic fixtures.
- Participate in all safety briefings, follow lockout/tagout procedures, and halt work if hazards are identified.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong listening and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and move comfortably in tight spaces
- Basic familiarity with tools and a desire to learn electrical systems
