Minimum Qualifications
Juris Doctoral degree
2 years of job-related prior experience
Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each
Proficient use of applicable technology
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization
Possess problem-solving ability through detailed analysis of various rules, regulations and laws
Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills
Position Summary
The Corporate Counsel – Commercial Litigation is responsible for proactively managing commercial disputes and supporting dispute prevention, litigation strategy, and risk mitigation efforts. This role reports to the Associate General Counsel – Litigation, Investigations, and Employment and partners with business leaders and other members of the legal department to advise on pre-litigation disputes, oversee outside counsel, and manage all phases of commercial litigation, arbitration, and other contested proceedings. The attorney will also support subpoena response, discovery strategy, and broader litigation readiness efforts.
