Description:
Substitute nursing positions are for those applicants who desire to work on a "call-in" basis to cover for contractual employees in a school nurse position.
Requirements for the Position (applications will not be considered complete until all items are received)
- Completion of an application
- Copy of your current RN or LPN License must be on file
- Three (3) written references
Background Checks:
The requirement of criminal and social service background checks are required for all positions within the Colonial Heights Public Schools. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
Daily Pay Rates:
- Substitute Registered Nurses (RN's) are paid at a rate of $125 per day
- Substitute Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN's) are paid at a rate of $110 per day.
Hiring Dates for New Substitutes:
- Applicants will be hired during the months of August - November and during the months of January - March
