Registered Dietitian
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at 428 Healthcare's Skilled Nursing Community in Lamar, CO. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dietary services to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met, and promoting overall health and wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized dietary plans for residents, taking into account their medical conditions, food preferences, and cultural backgrounds
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' nutritional needs and monitor their progress
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective care planning and communication
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and caregivers
- Conduct menu planning, food ordering, and inventory management
- Maintain accurate records and reports of dietary services and resident progress
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in nutrition and dietetics
Requirements:
Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a degree from an accredited program
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
Demonstrated knowledge of nutrition and dietetics principles
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (may be required for travel or errands)
