TempExperts is seeking a skilled Assembler for a growing manufacturing company in Tampa, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys building precision equipment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
The Assembler will be responsible for assembling CNC machinery and related mechanical components using blueprints, assembly drawings, and hand and power tools. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a team-focused manufacturing environment.
- Assemble CNC machines, mechanical assemblies, and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and precision instruments during assembly.
- Verify components are assembled accurately and meet quality standards.
- Inspect completed assemblies and identify any defects or discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and communicate larger concerns to supervisors or engineering.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow established quality control and safety procedures.
- Assist with additional production and assembly tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience required.
- Experience assembling industrial equipment, machinery, or CNC equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for extended periods throughout the workday.
