Position Overview
We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse & Delivery Associate to support our warehouse manager. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in staying organized, and understands the importance of treating every piece of furniture as if it were their own.
You'll assist with receiving shipments, organizing inventory, preparing deliveries, and helping install furnishings in clients' homes with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery: Safely load and secure deliveries onto truck and ensuring careful handling and placement of items into clients homes with high attention to detail and customer care.
Physical Labor: Requires lifting heavy furniture (up to 50lbs on your own and more with assistance) using proper techniques to prevent injuries or damage to products
Showroom Support: Assist with moving items to and from Showroom space, keeping track/documenting moves to ensure inventory levels are accurate
Teamwork: Close collaboration between warehouse associates, sales team, management and interior designers key to ensuring efficient and smooth operations
Requirements:
Physical Strength: Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture/items with assistance and perform physically demanding tasks in a safe manner
Attention to Detail: Capable of handling high end furniture with care to prevent damage during transport/delivery and receiving/stocking of items
A Focus on Customer Service: Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with customers with strong commitment to providing excellent service
Warehouse Experience: Experience in a warehouse/logistics environment is a plus but not required
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm two or three days a week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday)
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
