Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead our semi truck and reefer trailers maintenance operations with a minimum of 5 years of experience. In this vital role, you will oversee the repair, inspection, and servicing of the fleet that includes Volvo semi trucks and Utility Reefer trailers. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance activities for all fleet vehicles and equipment, ensuring timely repairs and inspections.
- Coordinate with mechanics to diagnose issues using diagnostics software.
- Oversee the repair of different components of trucks and trailers.
- Manage inventory of parts, hand tools, power tools, welding supplies, and safety equipment to maintain operational readiness.
- Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff on heavy equipment operation, and diagnostic troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repair logs, schematics updates, and service histories to support proactive fleet management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dealership or heavy equipment maintenance with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair.
- Extensive knowledge of heavy truck repair including diesel engines, HVAC systems, powertrains, electrical systems, and tire service.
- Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques such as welding and assembly of equipment parts.
- Familiarity with schematics for mechanical systems as well as hydraulic and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate a team of technicians while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage maintenance schedules and inventory effectively.
- Valid certifications or licenses related to heavy equipment operation or diesel mechanics are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $62,342.02 - $85,078.56 per year
