American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a 13-week hospital assignment requiring 3 years of adult and pediatric emergency experience and float availability across multiple facilities.

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
-
Treats adult and pediatric patient populations
-
Patient ratio of 1:5-6
-
Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Required to float within a network of 7 hospitals based on staffing needs and skillset
-
Unit uses Epic charting system
-
Active RN license (NJ or Compact) currently in hand
-
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
-
Minimum of 3 years of ER nursing experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months

Adult and pediatric emergency care experience required

Epic charting experience preferred

Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing, with only 2 attempts allowed on a PC
-
BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date

COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions

Provide emergency nursing care across a multi-hospital network
-
RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; requests after that point will not be accepted
-
No RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment
-
Block scheduling is not permitted
-
First-time travelers accepted

Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced local rate
-
Pre-employment labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
-
Must be clean shaven to accommodate fit testing prior to working on the unit
