Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid Virginia dental license and the ability to pass any required background checks.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience or training in oral surgery, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and infection control practices is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
