In this role, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering concrete materials to various job sites while ensuring timely, efficient, and safe operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong driving experience and a commitment to high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive a CDL Class B concrete pump truck to and from job sites
- Set up and operate the concrete pump
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper concrete flow during pours
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and pumping equipment
- Clean and maintain the pump, hoses, and truck after each job
- Communicate with contractors, crew members, and dispatch to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety policies
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues as needed
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks.
- Previous experience in concrete or construction industry preferred
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. This role is vital for maintaining efficient logistics operations while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction. Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy hoses (50+ lbs)
- Ability to climb, bend, and work in physically demanding conditions
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time with overtime opportunities
