Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Fund Accounting Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $190,000 per year.
Oversee accounting and financial reporting activities for investment funds, partnerships, and related entities.
Manage reconciliations for cash, investments, and other assets while ensuring accurate financial records.
Prepare and review partner allocations, distributions, capital activity, and other fund level transactions.
Coordinate financial reporting, performance analysis, and reporting packages for investors and stakeholders.
Partner with auditors, administrators, and service providers to support audits, compliance, and operational requirements.
10+ years of accounting, audit, or investment management experience.
Strong understanding of partnership accounting, investment accounting, and financial reporting principles.
Previous experience performing account reconciliations, financial analysis, and complex transaction reviews.
Knowledge of investment structures, capital activities, and fund operations.
Proficiency with accounting systems, investment platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with the capacity to resolve complex accounting matters.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with investors, auditors, and internal teams.
Self motivated and proactive work style with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
