Job Summary
Rapidly growing manufacturing company supporting data center projects is seeking an experienced Buyer/Planner to support purchasing, material planning, inventory management, and ERP improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone who can manage changing priorities, work through operational challenges, and help improve purchasing and planning as the company continues to scale.
Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing and planning activities for production materials
- Release and manage purchase orders based on demand and MRP signals
- Expedite materials and follow up with suppliers to prevent shortages
- Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and item data within Epicor
- Assist with BOM and inventory cleanup efforts
- Export and manipulate data as necessary to purchasing and inventory data using Excel
- Support continuous improvement of purchasing and planning processes
- Assist with vendor RFQs and pricing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Buyer/Planner experience in manufacturing
- Experience in fabrication, electrical, industrial, or electronics manufacturing preferred
- Strong ERP experience required; Epicor Kinetic preferred
- Strong understanding of MRP, purchasing, inventory control, and BOMs
- Strong Excel skills required, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
