Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of drinks and related offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling duties including cashiering, processing payments, and balancing registers at the end of shifts.
- Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting catering events, banquets, or nightclubs to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service while complying with all liquor laws and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to manage time effectively during busy periods, ensuring prompt service without sacrificing quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests and promoting sales.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in cash handling and cashiering tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
