Part Time Art Instructor Internship to possible hire (Internship is unpaid, but we hope to hire staff and will come on to be paid after 2 weeks (30 hours) of internship training)
We are looking for enthusiastic people to join us at the studio teaching art to kids and adults! We are going to be offering all the training so there is no experience necessary, but it is a plus. This is an unpaid internship program that will be for 30 hours within 2 weeks starting late in the month of August. We will be hiring people that make a good fit with our company. We want people who can be with us long term, a year or more would be great! If you are looking to apply to this position you must meet these requirements:
MUST be available at least 4 days a week between the hours of 2-7 from Monday thru Friday and Saturday morning from 9-2. The schedule of working hours will be based on your availability. If you are available only 4 days a week, you can be scheduled to work 2-4 days. If you are available 6 days a week, the amount of hours will most likely increase.
MUST be available to attend a 2 week, 30 hour, unpaid internship during these times to learn art.
MUST have a reliable form of transportation. (although we are looking for help in Santee, you will be required to drive to our other locations from time to time so having a car is best)
MUST love kids!
MUST be open to the possibility of working at the studio for at least a year, hopefully longer.
MUST be able to drive primarily to our Santee location but willing to drive to our other locations in Bonita and La Mesa for training.
Please understand that this is a very part time job and the hours of work are typically between 12-20 hours per week. This is a great position if you are a student looking to fill some time for some extra money in your pocket or as a second job. We will be paying based on training with our company so the longer you work with us the better the pay.
