We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framer Carpenter to join our team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing projects.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing to support structural integrity.
- Execute framing tasks including wall, floor, roof, and trim carpentry using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation, material handling, and structural assembly.
- Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools; perform dimensional measurements for proper fitment.
- Install masonry elements such as stucco or plaster as required by project specifications.
- Assist with restoration projects by applying carpentry skills to repair or refurbish existing structures.
- Follow construction plans meticulously while interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during heavy lifting, welding, metal building erection, and other activities.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with a focus on framing carpentry or related trades.
- Hands-on experience with metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including drills and saws.
- Knowledge of welding techniques relevant to framing or structural components is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation processes.
- Familiarity with construction management practices and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience operating heavy equipment used in construction environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
