Job Summary
Join our dynamic moving and packing team as a Mover/Packer, where your energy and attention to detail will help homeowners after disaster strikes. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently inventorying/packing belongings, safely loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring everything arrives in pristine condition. Your proactive approach and strong work ethic will contribute to a positive customer experience and the overall success of our moving operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop versatile skills in moving, packing, and transportation logistics.
Duties
- Carefully inventory and pack household or commercial items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit
- Load and unload boxes, furniture, and equipment onto trucks with heavy lifting techniques and proper safety procedures
- Operate moving equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts when necessary to facilitate efficient loading/unloading
- Assist with route driving for delivery or pickup using box trucks or similar vehicles, adhering to safety protocols
- Ensure all items are securely packed, labeled accurately, and organized for smooth delivery or pickup routes
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times, including storage areas and trucks
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with moving operations is preferred
- Experience with commercial driving, including driving box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labor throughout shifts
- Knowledge of load & unload procedures, route driving, and safety practices in a moving environment
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other moving equipment safely (certification is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license suitable for <PERSON> driver roles or courier duties; clean driving record preferred
- Reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
