Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Residential Housekeeper Trainer to lead the development and enhancement of housekeeping teams within residential settings. Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, safety regulations, and customer service standards tailored to residential housekeeping staff.
- Supervise and mentor housekeeping teams, providing ongoing coaching to improve performance, efficiency, and teamwork.
- Conduct hands-on demonstrations of industrial cleaning methods, janitorial tasks, laundry management, and hospitality-related housekeeping duties.
- Evaluate staff performance through observations and assessments, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with management to identify training needs, create schedules for training sessions, and track progress of team members.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages leadership development, accountability, and high-quality service delivery.
Experience
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles within residential or commercial settings with a strong focus on cleaning and sanitation management.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in hospitality or housekeeping environments.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, safety regulations, and best practices for maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Prior experience in training or mentoring staff in cleaning procedures, team supervision, or management roles.
- Familiarity with hospitality services, and customer service principles related to residential care.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate managerial expectations clearly while motivating teams toward excellence.
- Certification or hands-on experience in commercial cleaning or sanitation is highly desirable.
