Beaver Street Food Co. is looking for a reliable and hardworking Line/Prep Cook to support our fast‑paced culinary team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the preparation of food items according to established recipes and quality standards. Your work directly supports the experience of every guest we serve. Must be available for OSU home Football Games.

Sept: 12th, 19th

Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping and measuring.
- Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols to prevent foodborne illnesses.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workstation, including equipment and utensils.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff and Front of House staff to maintain a positive, professional, and productive work environment.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical‑handling procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Assemble food items according to established recipes and specifications.
- Ensure all food products meet quality and presentation standards prior to serving.
Requirements:
- Food Handler card (or ability to obtain one).
- 1+ year of previous experience as a line cook or similar role
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Commitment to working at home games and athletic events, including evenings, weekends and varying start times as needed.
