We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant (Floater) to support a busy office environment across multiple accounting teams. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, organized, and comfortable jumping between different administrative tasks as needed, with opportunity for advancement for those who excel and show initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with general filing and document organization
- Pull, prepare, and organize invoices and records
- Perform basic data entry and maintain accurate records
- Reroute calls and take/deliver messages
- Help organize office activities
- Operate office equipment such as copiers, scanners, fax machines, and phone systems
- Retrieve and organize files for staff
- Provide flexible support to staff and departments as needed
Preferred Requirements
- Previous administrative or office assistant experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- QuickBooks or basic bookkeeping experience a plus (not required)
- Comfortable using office equipment (scanner, copier, phone systems, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently when needed
- Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
