Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional sales experiences, driving revenue growth, and contributing to the overall success of the store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail sales, particularly in a body piercing or jewelry sales environment, and be comfortable with cash handling and Ear & Nose piercing services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Engage in product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of products, promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by upselling and cross-selling relevant products.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales environment, including jewelry cases, product displays, and cash handling areas.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, management, and customers in English (Spanish is a plus)
- Utilize organizational skills to manage inventory, track sales performance, and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in visual merchandising initiatives to enhance store displays and drive sales.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in body piercing store or jewelry sales environment.
- Proven ability to handle cash and operate a cash register with accuracy.
- Proficiency in product demos and excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
