Successful and fast paced architectural metalwork company in the
Philadelphia area is seeking a full-time experienced Industrial Painter
to paint architectural metalwork.
Candidate must possess the following skills:
Minimum 3 years of painting experience in an industrial or
autobody environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of overall painting process (painting
techniques, formulas, applications, etc).
Experience painting architectural metalwork (railings, stairways, gates
and misc. metal custom applications)
is a plus.
Experience applying special finishes (i.e. patina) or polishing.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively
communicate to off-site members of supervisory team.
Completion of college/vocational study or technical training pertaining
to automotive and/or industrial painting certification.
A valid driver's license and good clean driving record is required
Job Duties:
Prepare material for painting by washing, blowing off dust or debris
and removing metal spatter.
Primer and spray material with electrostatic spray equipment or
conventional methods using side-to side and up and down motions
Maintains and troubleshoots painting equipment to ensure proper
operations.
Conducts quality inspections and prepares finished material for
delivery.
