Shifts: Part Time 3 shifts a week 7A-3P w/ EOW AND 3p-11p w/ EOW
Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Conyers area is looking for Part Time Certified Medication Aides (CMA) to join our team!
The CMA role is to assist the licensed nurse (RN or LPN) in providing safe and ethical care for residents, administering prescribed drugs and completing other delegated nursing tasks allowed by state law.
Responsibilities of a CMA:
- Works utilizing guidelines established by facility standards, policies and procedures.
- Provides care as directed by the nurse to patients/residents requiring long-term, subacute, rehabilitative or restorative care.
- Reports to the Charge or Staff Nurse any observations and pertinent information related to the care of the patient
- Documents objective information related to patient care.
- Maintains patient/resident care supplies, equipment and environment.
- Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use (i.e., restraints, monitors. drain devices, lifts, weight machines, etc.).
- Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid (CMA) Certified Medication Aide license in good standing for the state of GA
- Must have proven CMA experience in a Nursing home or Assisted living facility
- Reliable, professional and team player
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
