Job Summary
Quantum STEAM Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated 4-5 Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic and culturally-responsive educational environment. In this role, you will design engaging lessons, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the holistic development of students either in 4th grade or fifth grade. This is a sole home room teaching for 4th or 5th grade.
QUALIFICATIONS
K-6 MN teaching license or eligible for Tier 1 or Tier 2 licensing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, social studies, and physical education.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual student needs, including those with special education requirements or autism.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, utilizing data to inform instruction and support student growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and school initiatives to ensure consistent educational quality.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates.
- Integrate educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences and support differentiated instruction tailored to each child's unique learning style.
Skills
- Proven experience teaching elementary school students with strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher interactions and team collaboration.
- Expertise in curriculum development, implementation, and assessment strategies across core subjects including literacy and math.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles, childhood behavior management, and special education practices.
- Ability to adapt lessons for various learning styles using differentiated instruction techniques.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and student performance data analysis for continuous improvement.
- Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring early intervention or behavioral support programs such as Montessori or library services integration.

Pay: $46,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
