Position Summary
The Clinical Education Manager serves as the clinical and technical expert responsible for driving adoption of the Vessl's prosthetic solutions through education, training, and customer engagement. This role partners closely with sales, product development, and leadership teams to support customer acquisition, product implementation, and long-term account success.
The ideal candidate combines strong prosthetic clinical expertise, hands-on fabrication experience, and a passion for educating clinicians while helping build a growing business. As a key member of the team, the Clinical Education Manager will play an active role in identifying opportunities, supporting sales efforts, gathering market insights, and helping shape the company's clinical strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Education & Customer Success
- Develop and deliver product training programs for prosthetists, technicians, distributors, and rehabilitation professionals.
- Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations, workshops, and continuing education programs.
- Support customer onboarding and implementation to ensure successful product adoption and utilization.
- Serve as the primary clinical resource for customers, providing guidance on patient selection, fitting, fabrication, troubleshooting, and outcome optimization.
- Develop educational materials, clinical guides, case studies, and training resources.
Business Development & Sales Support
- Partner with sales leadership to identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.
- Support the sales process through clinical presentations, product demonstrations, evaluations, and trial programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clinicians, clinic owners, distributors, educators, and industry influencers.
- Assist in developing clinical value propositions and customer-specific adoption strategies.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, customer meetings, and industry events.
- Maintain awareness of competitive products, market trends, and customer needs.
Technical & Fabrication Leadership
- Provide hands-on training in prosthetic fabrication, fitting, alignment, and product integration.
- Demonstrate best practices in socket design, modification, assembly, and finishing techniques.
- Assist customers in solving complex clinical and technical challenges.
- Support product development by providing clinician and patient feedback.
- Participate in product evaluations and validation activities.
Clinical Strategy & Market Development
- Identify and cultivate key opinion leaders and early adopters.
- Gather and communicate market intelligence to leadership and product development teams.
- Contribute to clinical evidence generation through case studies, outcomes collection, and customer success stories.
- Support reimbursement and market access initiatives through clinical expertise and documentation.
Qualifications
Required
- Certified Prosthetist (CP) or Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO), ABC preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of prosthetic clinical experience.
- Demonstrated prosthetic fabrication expertise.
- Strong understanding of lower-limb prosthetic technologies.
- Experience delivering presentations and hands-on training.
- Ability to build relationships and influence clinical decision-making.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred
- Experience supporting product commercialization or product launches.
- Experience working with prosthetic manufacturers, suppliers, or distributors.
- Business development, sales support, or account management experience.
- Experience developing educational programs and clinical content.
- Knowledge of reimbursement and payer requirements.
