Line Cook duties primarily include following established procedures to prepare sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and all other menu items. Line Cooks are responsible for assembling and cooking a variety of dishes from the menu in a timely and efficient manner and keeping their work areas clean and sanitary. Typical work duties include things such as cutting pizzas, dressing burgers, and assembling pizzas. Line cooks are also responsible for basic food preparation work such as slicing tomatoes or mixing ingredients according to a recipe.
No formal degreeis required for this position.
Related prior work experience is helpful, but it is not a requirement.
