Cromwell Hills Condominium Association is seeking a reliable, safety-minded Pool Attendant to join our team immediately. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for our community members and guests. Your primary focus will be enforcing pool rules, signing residents in, cleaning the pool, and checking the chemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations & Maintenance
- Opening Duties: Vacuum and skim the pool, clean out skimmers, check pool chemicals, and add water as needed.
- Site Cleanliness: Set up and straighten lounge chairs, sweep the entire pool deck, and pick up trash inside and outside the fence area.
- Closing Duties: Clean the pool area, empty trash cans (disposing of bags in the dumpster), thoroughly clean the bathrooms, and securely lock the gates and bathrooms.
Safety & Rule Enforcement
- Maintain constant visual surveillance of the swimmers and the entire pool area.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations evenly and consistently.
- Handle emergency procedures professionally, including clearing the pool for contamination/storms, administering minor first aid, or contacting 911 for major injuries.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Availability: Must be able to work weekend shifts.
- Must be observant, reliable, and capable of working independently without direct supervision on-site.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and lifting trash bags.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills to enforce rules firmly yet politely.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
