Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, generators, compressors, pressure washers, and other small-engine equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, and electrical issues.
- Inspect and maintain pipe yard equipment and support machinery.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain maintenance records.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs when needed.
- Maintain an organized shop and inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.
- Ensure all equipment complies with company and safety standards.
Coordinate with operations personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience repairing and maintaining small engines, forklifts, and industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read service manuals and troubleshooting guides.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
