Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Pay Rate: $54/hr $58/hr
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Behavioral Health/Psych experience preferred
EMR: EPIC
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Behavioral Health/Psych night shift opportunity in Janesville, Wisconsin. This role is ideal for an RN who can provide compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting behavioral health patients through assessment, medication administration, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for adult behavioral health/psychiatric patients
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely
Develop and follow individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
Document patient care accurately using EPIC
Participate in unit performance improvement activities as needed
Apply critical thinking to support patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
Requirements
Active Wisconsin or multi-state Registered Nurse license required
Nursing degree required; education verification required
BLS/BCLS required
Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Nursing experience preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and patient safety skills required
Must be able to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday coverage as needed
