Position requirements:
Optical experience is preferred, but certainly not required; all training will be on-sight. Must be 18 and older, with 2+ years experience in customer service. Strong communication skills between coworkers and patients alike. We’re looking for a friendly, outgoing, and dependable individual with a passion to exceed patient’s expectations. Oh, and dog friendly is a plus, too, since we have an office dog on staff!
Position Responsibilities:
-Prepping patients charts before exam
-Preform diagnostic imaging, visual acuity and administer dilation drops with patients before Dr. Keltgen begins the exam
-Listening to patients chief complaints and properly relaying that information to Dr. Keltgen
-Saving all testing and information into patients charts accordingly
-Cleaning exam lanes after appointments and preparing for next patient
-Minor reception duties (answering phone, returning calls/emails/faxes, scheduling, etc.)
-Verifying medical & vision insurance benefits
-Dispensing orders to patients
-Teaching contact lens insertion and removal classes
-Other duties, as assigned
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
