We have a live opportunity for a CNC Turner to join a leading aerospace manufacturing company based close to Manchester, CT. Second shifts are available.
Due to continued growth, our client is actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic CNC Turner to join their industry-leading business.
The CNC Turner will set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce high-quality, flight-critical components and precision-engineered parts.
Responsibilities for the CNC Turner:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machinery.
- Work with multi-axis lathes and turning centres.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints to manufacture complex precision components.
- Machine a range of aerospace materials including aluminium, stainless steel, magnesium, titanium, and nickel alloys.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment and ensure equipment is properly cared for.
Experience for the CNC Turner:
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in CNC turning.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong ability to work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
- Aerospace machining experience highly desirable.
- Confident in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.
Hours and Pay Rates for the CNC Turner:
- 1st Shift: 6:00am – 3:30pm or 7:00am – 4:30pm
- 2nd Shift: 4:30pm – 3:30am (10-hour shifts)
- Pay Range: $26.97 – $32.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- 2nd Shift Differential: Additional 10% on hourly rate
This is a full-time permanent position for the successful CNC Turner.
