Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Millworker with strong carpentry and fabrication skills to join our production team. The ideal candidate has a background in architectural millwork or cabinetry and is comfortable working with PVC, wood, and composite materials using both traditional and CNC machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and finish custom PVC architectural components according to specifications and drawings
- Operate a variety of shop machinery and tools, including:
- Table saws, planers, shapers, moulders, routers, sanders, and drills
- Edge banders, miter saws, and other precision cutting tools
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and technical measurements
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship
- Ensure proper machine setup, calibration, and maintenance
- Work collaboratively with production leads, designers, and installers to meet project deadlines
- Follow all safety and shop procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of millwork or carpentry experience (PVC or composite material experience strongly preferred)
- Proficient in operating woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precise measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Able to lift 70 lbs and work in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with architectural moldings, trims, and exterior design elements
- Experience with adhesives, finishing, and assembly of PVC materials
