Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and personable Budtender to join our retail team. No prior cannabis experience is required—we welcome beginners and are happy to train the right person.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, learn about our product offerings, educate and assist customers, and support sales in a welcoming, fast-paced dispensary environment. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow with our team.
This position is not physically demanding and requires minimal heavy lifting or strenuous physical activity.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance based on their needs and preferences
- Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Manage inventory levels through stock checks and reporting low stock items
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and store policies during sales interactions
- Assist with store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment
- Supervise or assist in supervising junior staff or interns as needed
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Previous supervising experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and retail sales techniques
- Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through product demos and training sessions
- Bilingual skills are desirable to serve a diverse customer base
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and sales calculations
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining professionalism
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is beneficial but not required
