Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in upscale casual dining, and possess excellent customer service skills. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about our woodfired pizzas that are each made to order.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using Toast POS handhelds.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash register transactions efficiently, processing payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Server in the food industry is preferred.
- Proficient in using POS systems such as Toast or similar cash register systems.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs. We are closed Sundays.
