Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator/Project Manager to lead construction project estimations and oversee project execution from inception to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing cost estimates, developing competitive bids, and managing project timelines and budgets. Your expertise will drive successful project delivery, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining cost efficiency. Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scope using tools such as PractiCam and Bluebeam.
- Develop accurate pricing strategies by sourcing materials, labor, and equipment while ensuring competitive bids.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms and manage contractual agreements effectively.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and stay within budget parameters.
- Monitor project progress through site visits and coordination with construction teams to ensure adherence to safety standards and quality expectations.
- Implement cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to optimize expenses without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly and maintain clear communication channels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and site operations.
- Proficiency in estimating software; experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of construction contracts, project management principles, and cost control techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Hands-on construction site experience that provides practical insight into field operations and safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for clear articulation of project scope, costs, and timelines across diverse teams.
