Job Summary:
Packaging crew members duties include packaging of cider and mead, cleaning kegs and helping with the canning line. Packaging crew members are expected to have a positive attitude and should expect a fast-paced work environment.
Packaging Crew Responsibilities (Additional duties may be assigned):
- Packaging cases of cider and mead.
- Fulfilling wholesale orders
- Building and wrapping pallets for orders.
- Cleaning and maintaining the canning line.
- Running canning line
- Maintaining inventory of packaged goods and supplies.
- Fulfilling online orders
- Cleaning and organizing warehouse
- Maintaining an orderly and safe work environment.
- Cleaning an filling kegs
- Assisting cellar crew.

Skills:
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the workplace
- Team player
- Forklift certification and/or experience using either a forklift or a power jack
- Able to function in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- IT skills, Knowledge of EKOS is a plus.
- Passionate about Cider and Mead
- Personable, approachable and pleasant demeanor
- Willing to help in any way with any job for the benefit of the department
- Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
Required Minimum Qualifications
- 21 years or older.
- Valid North Carolina drivers license and acceptable driving record.
- Able to kneel and stoop and climb stairs, ramps, ladders.
- Able to lift and laterally move by hand filled half-barrel keg (154 lbs).
- Able to lift 55 lbs. from ground to shoulder high
- Able to execute reasonable safety procedures, including working with chemicals
- Able to work in a loud environment
- Able to move heavier items such as kegs, drums, totes, and pallets, using tools such as a hand truck, pallet jack, or a forklift.
