Job Responsibilities:
· Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw ingredients following established formulas and batch sheets
· Operate mixing, blending, and batching equipment safely and efficiently
· Verify ingredient identity, lot numbers, and quantities prior to use
· Monitor batches during production to ensure consistency, texture, flavor, and appearance
· Submit samples to Quality Control for testing
· Filter batches and ingredients as required
· Perform in-process quality checks and document results
· Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food safety guidelines at all times
· Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized work areas, including proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment
· Report deviations, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors promptly
· Assist with inventory tracking of raw materials and finished compounds
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required; technical or food science training preferred
· Must 2+ years experience in flavor, food or beverage manufacturing, compounding, or batching preferred
· Ability to read and follow detailed formulas, SOPs, and batch records
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Basic math skills for measurements and conversions
· Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
· Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations is a plus
· Ability to stand for extended periods
· Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
· Ability to work in environments with temperature variations, noise, food ingredients, and some exposure to odors and chemicals
Schedule:
· Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
