Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or EA (Enrolled Agent) to join our dynamic accounting team in the, area. Duties
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust and estate tax returns with precision and attention to detail.
- Prepare and review multi-state returns.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and financial statement preparation.
- Manage tax compliance processes, including tax reporting, tax law interpretation, and IRS tax representation.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms for bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, and financial record keeping.
- Perform tax planning and client consulting.
- Support mergers & acquisitions activities through due diligence and financial report writing as well as tax analysis for buyers and sellers.
- Provide expert guidance on GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), technical accounting issues, and financial concepts to clients and team members.
- Communicate complex financial information clearly to clients through detailed reports and presentations.
Qualifications
- Certified CPA or Enrolled Agent with active licensure in good standing.
- Extensive experience in accounting and finance roles with a strong background in tax accounting or public accounting.
- Proven expertise in tax law, tax reporting, individual tax preparation, and regulatory compliance accounting.
- Familiarity with tax law on trusts & estates.
- Proficiency with tax and accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Fixed Assets CS, and ProSeries (a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Excellent client communication skills with a professional approach to consulting and advisory services.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards.
