Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of construction materials, workmanship, and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
- Perform detailed data collection and documentation during various phases of construction, including concrete forming, masonry, and other structural elements
- Monitor construction site activities to identify potential quality issues early and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to verify adherence to contractual requirements and technical specifications
- Assist in preparation of daily field reports and follow up on outstanding issues to be corrected.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports for project documentation
- Support analysis of inspection data to identify trends or recurring issues that could impact project quality or timelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction inspection or quality control within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction processes such as concrete forming, masonry work, interior finishes, drywall, casework, and general site operations
- Familiarity with quality control procedures, data collection methods, and inspection standards
- Ability to analyze inspection results and communicate findings clearly to team members
- Construction site experience with a focus on maintaining safety and quality standards
- Knowledge of contracts related to construction projects and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving skills

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
