For the North American territory we are looking for
Senior Field Service Technician
Main responsibilities include:
• Use of mechanical and electrical experience to repair customer‘s machines
- Perform troubleshooting of control components (Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley)
- Repair or replace components to bring machine back to operating standards at customer site
- Installation, training, and commissioning of new customer machines
- Communicate with customers to address technical questions, service and parts
- Remote support for customers by PC, phone, or virtual reality glasses
- Work on internal projects such as machine rebuilds and laboratory trials
- Create and submit Field Service Reports for customer visits
- Evaluate and suggest aftermarket changes to help customers
- Work with engineers to develop machine corrections and repairs as needed
Requirements
• Associate‘s degree in a technical discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and education required
- Three to five years experience working as a field technician required
- Experience with capital equipment installation, startup, and service is preferred
- Understanding of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine controls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in the alloted time
- Ability to think methodically, prioritize and follow up on multiple tasks and technical assignments
- Ability to develop strong relationshiops wth customers
- Up to 75% domestic travel to customer sites
- Must be available to work and/or travel on weekends
