Job Summary
We are seeking a Design Liaison Engineer to partner with Supply Chain and cross-functional engineering teams to support manufacturing, resolve hardware non-conformances, and drive continuous product and process improvements. This role focuses on improving manufacturability, quality, and production efficiency while supporting engineering and manufacturing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Supply Chain and engineering teams to resolve hardware non-conformances.
- Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM), lean manufacturing, and concurrent engineering.
- Assist with qualification of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and process improvements.
- Drive cost reduction and product improvement initiatives.
- Participate in Lean events, Kaizens, and continuous improvement activities.
- Support qualification of special manufacturing processes such as castings, coatings, and hole drilling.
- Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Gas Turbine engineering, particularly Hot Section components.
- Manufacturing engineering experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Experience with NX, GD&T, and ANSYS Classic.
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes.
- Strong customer-focused mindset with excellent quality awareness.
- Excellent teamwork, presentation, and interpersonal skill
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
