Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU | 13-Week Contract | 40 Hours Guaranteed | Morgantown, WV
Winston Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment at a leading academic medical center in Morgantown, West Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for PACU nurses looking to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment while enjoying a guaranteed 40-hour workweek.
Position Details
- Location: Morgantown, WV
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: August 3, 2026
- Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours Guaranteed
- Shift: Rotating day shifts (primarily Monday–Friday)
- Shift Length: 8- or 10-hour shifts based on department needs
- Call: Required
- Charting System: Epic
What You'll Do
As a PACU RN, you'll care for adult and pediatric patients recovering from a wide variety of surgical procedures, including:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics & Trauma
- Neurosurgery
- Urology
- ENT & Maxillofacial Surgery
- Thoracic Surgery
- OB/GYN
- Bariatric Surgery
- Ophthalmology
- Surgical Oncology
You'll rotate through Pre-Op, Phase I PACU, and Phase II Recovery while working alongside experienced surgical and anesthesia teams in a busy, high-acuity environment.
QualificationsRequired
- Active RN license (or Compact License, if applicable)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience
- Recent PACU experience
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Comfortable caring for high-acuity post-operative patients, including ventilator and ICU-level recoveries
Preferred
- Level I Trauma PACU experience
