Warehouse Driver Responsibilities:
- Deliver items from our warehouse to the airport by loading, unloading, and operating a truck.
- Driving is up to 50% of the job fuction and other 50% is Warehouse Receiving functions.
- Prepare the truck for operation by inspecting its condition, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and ensuring it meets roadability standards.
- Load the truck by organizing, placing, and securing items.
- Maintain the delivery schedule to the airport terminals.
- Pull replenishment orders in the warehouse, deliver warehouse products to stores.
- Deliver and stock products, drinks and snacks in the stores.
- Maintain truck operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and scheduling necessary repairs.
- Ensure safe operation and clean appearance of the truck; clean both the exterior and interior of the truck.
- Comply with state and local driving rules and regulations
- Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipts, recording tracking information, and completing driver logs and truck performance forms.
- Update job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
- Perform additional warehouse responsibilities as needed.
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience driving box trucks (24"-26” ft).
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation to work.
- Strong communication and data entry skills.
- Customer-focused and deadline-oriented.
- Capable of continually lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
