Position Details
- Full-Time Position
- Monday–Friday
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Location: Gainesville, FL
Pay
$15.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience, credentials, and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
- Supervise and interact with children throughout the day
- Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development
- Implement daily classroom activities and lesson plans
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
- Communicate professionally with parents and coworkers
- Follow all licensing and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children preferred
- CDA or higher degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- DCF 45 Hours preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to actively supervise children at all times
