We're recruiting for an experienced MRB Engineer to support commercial aircraft production with an aerospace manufacturer in Wichita, KS.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on nonconforming aircraft hardware, repair dispositions and rework, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate nonconforming aircraft parts, assemblies and installations
- Develop engineering repair dispositions and rework instructions
- Determine Use As Is, Repair and Rework dispositions
- Prepare technical repair documentation for approval
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, stress reports and manufacturing documentation
- Support supplier-related nonconformances and structural hardware
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Production
- Maintain accurate MRB documentation and quality records
- Support production efficiency and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- 5+ years' commercial aerospace engineering experience
- Experience developing MRB repair dispositions or rework instructions
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and stress reports
- Knowledge of aircraft structural repair and manufacturing processes
- Production or manufacturing engineering support experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- MRB Delegation / Stamping Authority
- Aerospace experience
- MRB, Liaison Engineering, Production Support or Stress Engineering
- Metallic and/or composite aircraft structures
- Boeing engineering systems and specifications
