Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
- Conduct mechanical repairs including transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and air brake systems.
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and fabrication skills to complete repairs accurately.
- Inspect vehicles and machinery for issues related to alignment, HVAC systems, electrical components, tire service, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform automotive diagnostics to identify faults efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with dealership or industrial equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems and hydraulic diagrams.
- Hands-on experience in automotive repair including transmissions, air brakes, tire service, shocks & struts; diesel engine repair; brake repair; HVAC; suspension; and powertrain components.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in various repair scenarios.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of quality work.
- Certification or experience in welding, soldering or fabrication is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs.
Pay: From $1.00 per day
