Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant educational team. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs through attentive caregiving and positive behavior management
- Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times
- Help organize classroom materials, educational resources, and learning activities to promote an enriching environment
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs or disabilities, including implementing tailored strategies and interventions
- Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and caregivers regarding children's progress and behavior
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations such as first aid protocols
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as preschool, daycare, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is expected
- Demonstrated ability to provide nurturing care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-aged children
- Previous experience in childcare roles such as daycare assistant or toddler caregiver will be considered an asset
