Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and returns
- Assist customers with product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked neatly on shelves
- Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers
- Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves and assisting with inventory counts
- Follow phone etiquette protocols when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support retail sales goals through proactive engagement and effective communication skills
Experience
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for transactions
- Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members effectively
- Experience in merchandising, stock management, and product demos enhances your fit for this role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
