Position Summary
The Staffing Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and increasing revenue by selling staffing and workforce solutions. This role focuses on identifying prospective clients, understanding their hiring needs, presenting staffing services, negotiating contracts, and partnering with recruiting teams to deliver exceptional talent. Success in this role is measured by new client acquisition, revenue growth, client retention, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business within target industries.
- Prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and in-person meetings.
- Identify decision-makers and build long-term relationships with HR, Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Executive leadership.
- Conduct client needs assessments and recommend customized staffing solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing agreements, and staffing service contracts.
- Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client staffing needs.
- Conduct client visits, facility tours, and workforce planning meetings.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM software.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication and account management.
- Assist with contract renewals, client retention initiatives, and expansion opportunities.
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry associations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of business development or outside sales experience.
- Staffing industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
